The History of Our Station

On July 31st, 2020 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Live From The Lounge Radio was born. It was the brainchild of another Central Valley radio vet, Brian Martinez. One year later, Brian retired the Live From The Lounge name and changed it to Rock Radio 559. The goal, to localize a strictly online radio station, and not make it into your typical classic rock station. To continue with the theme of uniqueness and play more than just the safe hits you hear all the time on your traditional local FM classic rock stations. Live From The Lounge Radio may be history, but Rock Radio 559 is here. Same great music and same great personalities! Check us out for yourself.
